Rameses Balloon
The idea for this illustration started when my supervisor and I were joking about a Rameses balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
Ideation
Since we were doing a photoshoot with Rameses that day, I was able to capture the perfect reference image. I asked Rameses to lean on a stool to get the best angle, and this is a picture of me taking that reference shot.
Final Results
This illustration took me about two days to complete. I drew from my own references and photos of the parade route to create a cohesive look. It ended up being the most engaging content that month, receiving the highest interaction.
